Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the second most successful team in the history of the IPL, have flop for the first time in the 13th season. The team reached the playoffs for the first time when the team was led by the most successful captain of the Indian team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Dhoni has played 14 matches in the season, in which he has scored only 200 runs at an average of 25. He also beat young Rituraj, who was playing his first tournament. Rituraj scored 204 runs in just 6 matches including 3 continuos fifties. Chennai bought the young batsman Rituraj for a base price of Rs 20 lakh.

MS Dhoni's team Chennai superkings was the first team to be eliminated from the IPL play-offs 2020. One thing that has been the best for the team though, is Rituraj Gaekwad. He got a place in the Chennai Superkings before the upcoming tournament IPL 2021 started.
Although he did not play well in the opening 3 matches, he did not give up. In the end, he got another chance in 3 matches, in which he scored 3 fifties in a row. He is the first CSK player to do so.
Apart from Rituraj, Faf du Plessis for CSK also proved to be a hit in performance.
