Kolkata Knight Riders test against Rajasthan Royals today's IPL match.
Rajasthan Royals have won two in a row with extraordinary strokeplay and tremendous teamwork and are now heading for a hat-trick of victories in 13th season of IPL 2020.
The KKR, under the captaincy of Dinesh Karthik, on the other hand, gained confidence with a win over Sunrisers Hyderabad after a losing start.
Now, the KKR batsmen and bowlers will be tested against RR in the match starting tomorrow at 7.30 pm Indian time in Dubai. RR will be playing outside Sharjah for the 1st time in 13th season of IPL, which will be a real test for their batting power heaters.
Captain Steve Smith and Sanju Samson have shown superb form.
Butler has also joined the team and Rahul Tewatia's talent as an all-rounder has strengthened the Rajasthan Royals team. The top duo of Rajasthan Royals, Joffra Archer and Tom Karan have the ability to turn the tide by excelling on both the batting and bowling fronts.
The KKR, one of the strongest teams in the IPL, have not had a confident start this season. The team, captained by Dinesh Karthik, has veterans like Andre Russell, Sunil Narayan, Eoin Morgan, Kuldeep Yadav and Cummins.
Young opener Shubhaman Gill has shown excellent form. However, the team KKR is yet to see a prominent rhythm. After a mediocre defeat against Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and elected to bat. However, against Rajasthan Royals, he will have to be prepared to score a huge score or chase a big challenge.
The challenge is to keep Rajasthan Royals informed batting line-up in check against the Kolkata Knight Riders bowlers. The KKR team management is hoping for a better performance from spinner Kuldeep Yadav. Andre Russell will also have to bat in a prominent rhythm.
