For Suresh Raina The Door To Return To The Team Is Closed! | Chennai Super Kings Took This Big Step

Suresh Raina is no longer associated with the Chennai Super Kings.

Before the start of IPL 2020, Suresh Raina gave a big tweak to the fans as well as the franchise by withdrawing his name from the Chennai Super Kings. But the franchise did not bring in Raina's replacement. Due to which there were constant discussions that Raina could return to the team. But now CSK has removed Suresh Raina's name from its official website.

After reaching UEA, Suresh Raina, vice-captain of the Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings team, withdrew his name from IPL 2020. Because of this, the franchise is facing a struggle in its batting. 

However, people were hoping that Raina would return to the team as Chennai had not replaced him. However, now that CSK has removed Raina's name from its website, it is clear that Raina is no longer associated with the Chennai Super Kings team.

Suresh Raina, popularly known as Mr IPL, joined Chennai and participated in a training camp in Chennai. So he announced his retirement with Mahendra Singh Dhoni. And after that Raina left for UAE with his team and also completed quarantine time. 

But Raina left the IPL and returned home from Dubai on the second day after 13 members of CSK tested positive. And now CSK has closed the doors to Raina's return.
